Our hand-woven rugs are woven from the best wool. The wool is milled, which is why there is no lint. The rugs can be laid on both sides and should be turned once or twice a year to allow the natural wool to regenerate. Tip: This is also an advantage, if you have a stain that can no longer be removed, you can simply turn the rug over. We recommend using a hoover with a flat nozzle. This is more gentle on the hand-woven rugs. Stains should be washed out with neutral soap and water. Under no circumstances should you resort to chemical cleaning agents, as the wool will then be attacked and colours can fade. If you have more persistant stains or you want to give the rug a basic cleaning after some time, then the rugs can be washed. We offer this rug washing service for our rugs. We also recommend the use of a non-slip underlay to protect your floor and the rug and prevent you from slipping on the rug.
