This abstract hand-knotted design rug from the Jordan Collection is a unique abstract rug made of the best highland wool and silk. The colored silk provides the noble luster in the rug. The high quality materials and the controlled colors show a first class quality and provide the good durability of the rug. The rug is suitable for floors with underfloor heating. We recommend a rug pad for our hand-knotted rugs.

Since the design rugs are hand-knotted, it may be that small wool threads push up at the beginning. This is not a material defect, but the testimony of a genuine hand-knotted rug. The threads can easily be cut off with scissors. We recommend using a vacuum cleaner with a flat nozzle. This is gentler on the handmade rug. Stains can generally be removed very easily and without complications. Simply wash the stain out with neutral soap and water. In no case should you resort to chemical cleaning agents, because the rug is made of natural materials and the wool is then attacked. If you have more stubborn stains, or you want to give the rug a basic cleaning after some time, then the hand-knotted rugs can be washed. We offer this rug washing service for our rugs. We also recommend using a non-slip rug pad to protect your floor and the rug, and to prevent you from slipping on the rug.

Each of our rugs is a hand-knotted piece that is unique in color, design and quality. Each weaver is an individual artist, each virgin wool takes on colors differently and so each time also creates a distinctive rug unique.
Each of our rugs is hand-knotted or hand-woven from sustainable and renewable materials such as virgin wool, natural silk, bamboo silk and goat hair.
Each rug is a hand-knotted unique piece. For many rugs, the virgin wool is still spun and carded by hand. The knotting of a rug is therefore a valuable craftsmanship.
We have been importing hand-knotted rugs from the countries of origin for more than 60 years. We have been a member of Care&Fair since then and require the same from all our partners. Our rugs are therefore fairly traded and manufactured.
